Case study: European Regions for Research and Innovation in Europe (ERRIN)
Founding member of ERRIN – a dynamic international network of over 90 European regions, business and universities to promote regional knowledge exchange, joint action and project partnerships in EU research and innovation programmes.
Glynis led the work to change ERRIN from an EU funded project into a self-sustaining network establishing ERRIN as a not for profit organisation (ASBL) in Brussels in 2006, and was first Chair of the new Management Board.
Case Study: smallbusinesseurope
Originally set up in collaboration with UK Government to:
- develop the voice of small business in EU decision making
- provide targeted on-line intelligence about EU policy and legislation to business
- raise awareness through profiling events, training and capacity building.
Clients have included chambers of commerce, regional development agencies, national business federations and RDI organisations
